Due to heavy downpour of rain over the weekend in Lagos, some areas of
the state were affected. Several Streets in Oworoshoki, Ifako,
Ikorodudu, Lekki axis were seriously affected and properties/items worth
millions of naira were also damaged, but no life was loss or collapse
of any building. According to the General Manager of the Lagos State
Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, the flood was also exerbitated by
blockages of some of the major drainage systems in the affected areas.
