- Tinubu single-handedly imposed the deputy governor on Audu
Information coming in from This Day suggests Audu was actually poisoned. He did not die of a heart attack. Audu was rushed to the hospital and repeatedly vomiting blood which he then passed out and died.
Word going around now is that Tinubu has a hand in his death. It is said that Audu’s poisoning was pre-planned in order to impose Bola Tinubu’s boy James Abiodun Faleke from Okun-Yoruba – Abubakar Audu’s running mate – on Kogi. Although from Kogi, Faleke was a member of theHouse of Representatives, representing Ikeja Federal Constituency, Lagos.
There is send to be rising ethnic tension and an impeding constitutional crises if the INEC or court eventually decides to give the APC the win. Some are mentioning the 1999 situation where Obasanjo picked Abubakar Atiku as his VP after Atiku won the Adamawa elections. Although Atiku was yet to be sworn in, his running mate Boni Haruna ascended into the governor seat.
Na wa ooo for Tinubu. Una don’ bite more than you can chew on this own. Pity. Of course, the ruling Igala people will not allow it. Tinubu trying to spread his tentacles to Kogi by all means. I fear what will happen in Bayelsa. War is looming…
Tochukwu M. Okonkwo: Blame Tinubu – Okorocha
Special Adviser on Inter-Party affairs to former President Olusegun Obasanjo and Governor of Imo State, Mr. Rochas Okorocha [above] has alleged that the national leader of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu among others killed the Kogi State governorship candidate, Alhaji Abulbakah Audu.
Okorocha, who accused the national leadership of the party, Tinubu, said the sudden death must have been pre-programmed by the mentioned.
He said: “We are not unaware of their antics and plans to field Audu’s deputy, Mr. Abiodun Faleke, after the programmed death his boss.
“Party apart, we are all human beings and such plot against fellow human is in itself inhuman and devilish.”
Speaking on phone with Mr. Okorocha shortly after the sad news, he described the death of Audu as untimely and inhuman at this moment for the national party, APC.
“How can we be mourning the departure of a guber candidate in Kogi State and Tinubu supporters are jubilating in Lagos?
“Do we further need any interpreter to interpret how and where the sudden death emanated from?
“No!
“Such is how we could manage our intra-party clash of interests in APC.
“It is unfortunate,” Okorocha said.

REMINDER NEWS:
The All Progressives Congress, APC, has officially picked James Abiodun Faleke, the lawmaker representing Ikeja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives as its deputy governorship candidate for Kogi State, northcentral Nigeria.
Faleke, chairman of the House Committee on Ethics, Anti-corruption and National Values in the Seventh Assembly, was also former two time chairman of Ojodu Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of Lagos State as well as ex-Chairman of Conference 57, umbrella organisation for the chairmen of the 20 local governments and 37 LCDAs in Lagos State.
Faleke’s choice was regarded a round peg in a round hole which was applauded by many especially leaders of the party at all levels.
This was based on account of his commitment and loyalty to the party.
He has emerged as one of the younger elements of committed party members thus an integral member of the engine room of the National Leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Faleke has undertaken several assignments for the party and came out with flying colours, the most recent being his sterling performance as the Coordinator of the Lagos Office of the Buhari/Osinbajo Campaign Organisation.
Highlight of his role then was organising a walk-to-freedom programme during which hundreds of thousands of party supporters and members including the current Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Governor of Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola; Senator Oluremi Tinubu among others participated.
In 2011, Faleke was also in the trenches in Kogi State campaigning and working for Audu who was then governorship candidate of the former Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN).
Faleke is also a deep rooted grassroots mobiliser who is well loved by many for several qualities including humility, loyalty, commitment and diligence.
