'From Paris with love' is written on missile before it's dropped on ISIS

A missile reading "From Paris, with love" has been sent to wreak havoc on ISIS strongholds. This emotive image was taken of US Military planes which were ready to join strikes on the terrorists who have claimed responsibility for Friday night's assault on the French capital.
The Paris terror attacks were, President Francoise Hollande told his people, "an act of war". And swift retribution came soon afterwards, as the French dropped 20 bombs on an ISIS stronghold in Raqqa, Syria, on Sunday night.

The unverified images of the missile said to be Syria-bound were shared on social media, and said to be a memorial for the 129 killed on Friday.
The Hellfire missiles were written on by persons unknown, but the act is in a tradition held by the US military since World War Two.
The images show messages written in black marker pen and also made out of white tape.

Photos: Ugandan gay man set to be deported after failing to prove his sexuality

Robert Kityo, a gay Ugandan-born asylum-seeker is facing deportation to his country after failing to prove he's gay. Uganda is one of the least tolerant countries in the world, where being gay is illegal, and is punished with life imprisonment. The Anti-Homosexuality Act was overturned by the country’s Constitutional Court last year. 35-year-old Kityo, who lives in Manchester, was taken to a deportation centre after his latest attempt to claim asylum was refused by the Home Office.

A decision letter sent by officials acting on behalf of Home Secretary Theresa May said: "It is not accepted that you are a homosexual and an openly gay man." The decision came even though more than 30 people including Dr David Walker, the Bishop of Manchester, and leaders of LGBT groups in the city, sent letters in support of Mr Kityo’s claim. More than 1,900 people have also signed a petition calling for him to be allowed to remain in the UK.

Kityo volunteers with a number of LGBT groups including Manchester’s Lesbian and Gay Foundation. He is also a member of a number of church groups including a fellowship for gay Christians. Dr Walker said in his letter:

"I would say he has a well-founded case for asylum here in the UK." Mr Kityo fears he could be killed if he is sent back to Uganda. "I’m very scared. I’m a gay man and in Manchester I am able to be who I am. I have made many friends here who accept me and love me. But I’m frightened that I will be killed if I am sent back to Uganda. It isn’t safe to be a gay man in Uganda." he told The Independent.

Mr Kityo arrived in the UK in 2011 on a student visa and claimed asylum the following year. He said his partner in Uganda had been jailed for being gay and a warrant had been issued for his arrest if he returned. But an immigration judge dismissed Mr Kityo’s claim on appeal in 2013 and said he did not believe he would face persecution. Solicitors acting on Mr Kityo’s behalf sent new submissions in September this year and asked for the case to be re-considered.

But Home Office officials said in their new decision letter: "Most of the people who have written the letters and statements appear to have known you only since 2014. This undermines your case for being an openly gay man." Mr Kityo was released from a deportation centre at Manchester Airport at the weekend after being told by the Home Office that it wanted to take a further look at his case.

His legal team are continuing to fight for him to remain in the UK. The Home Office said it could not comment on individual cases but added: "The Chief Inspector of Borders and Immigration last year praised our guidance and training on handling sexual orientation claims, stating that it was clear and concise. "We worked closely with organisations such as Stonewall, the UK Lesbian and Gay Immigration Group and the UN High Commissioner for Refugees to develop this training, which is now mandatory for our caseworkers."

See what this politician tweeted about ISIS - it ended his campaign

A candidate for the Minnesota legislature campaign ended less than 24 hours after a tweet expressing an unpopular opinion about terrorist organization Islamic State.
'ISIS isn't necessarily evil. It is made up of people doing what they think is best for their community. Violence is not the answer, though.' Dan Kimmel of Burnsville posted Saturday evening, when the world was still coming to grips with the Paris terrorist attacks that killed at least 129 people.

After a furious backlash against his 'tone-deaf' comments, Kimmel said he 'deplored' ISIS's evil acts but later gave up on his campaign because of the outrage.
In his followup tweet, the software developer said that he did not defend the acts of Islamic State, who have claimed responsibility for a series of shootings and suicide bombings in the French capital that injured hundreds.
A letter announcing the end of his campaign said that the original comments were in response to something said in the Democratic debate on Saturday night.
The statement said that Kimmel condemns the 'cowardly and despicable' Paris attacks along with all other violence.
'I will do everything I can to help resolve the issue: most likely the best thing for me to do is shut up. The tweet was stupid. I’m sorry,' he said.
His party had asked Kimmel to quit the House of Representatives race after the uproar, according to the Star Tribune.

According to the National Enquirer, the actress has had it with failed relationships and she's planning on taking a serious break from dating.

"After full consideration of this weekend’s attacks of terror on innocent citizens in Paris, I will oppose any attempt to relocate Syrian refugees to Alabama through the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program. Full Press Release
Governor Robert Bentley on Sunday announced he is refusing Syrian refugees relocating to Alabama.
“After full consideration of this weekend’s attacks of terror on innocent citizens in Paris, I will oppose any attempt to relocate Syrian refugees to Alabama through the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program. As your Governor, I will not stand complicit to a policy that places the citizens of Alabama in harm’s way,” Governor Robert Bentley said.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is working diligently with the FBI, DHS and federal intelligence partners to monitor any possible threats. Law enforcement presence has been increased at major gathering events in Alabama to further insure the safety of citizens. To date, there has been no credible intelligence of any terrorist threats in Alabama.

Alabama currently has one U.S. State Department approved refugee processing center in Mobile. There have been no Syrian refugees relocated in Alabama to date, though neighboring states have processed a number of refugees.

“The acts of terror committed over the weekend are a tragic reminder to the world that evil exists and takes the form of terrorists who seek to destroy the basic freedoms we will always fight to preserve. I will not place Alabamians at even the slightest, possible risk of an attack on our people. Please continue to join me in praying for those who have suffered loss and for those who will never allow freedom to fade at the hands of terrorists,” Governor Bentley added.
